Having lived in Europe Karen Schagunn developed a love for mission and an appreciation for people of varying cultures and backgrounds.She is the founder of Indestructible Daughters (www.indestructibledaughters.com), a ministry that equips and empowers women. An eager student and life-long learner, she completed her Masters degree at Georgia State University and completed certification through Perspectives on the World Christian movement (www.perspectives.org). She is now serving as an instructor for Perspectives, which is a ministry of the US Center for World Mission, mobilizing the effectiveness of the mission movement across the world.She also serves as the Prayer director for City Without Orphans and as a country helper for Moms in Prayer International. In 2002 she received national recognition from Coca Cola as an “Educator of Distinction”. Only 50 teachers in the nation are selected annually to receive this honor which led to special commendation from the governor of the state of California. She is also completing her book, "Indestructible Daughters”, presenting a call for women to arise and go forth in the authority God has given them.
